Urgent – Tax Return filing deadline fast approaching

The deadline for submitting your personal, partnership or trust tax return is 31 January 2012. With less than one month to go it is now urgent to ensure your information has been submitted, or at least is with your advisor for processing.
The penalty for filing late this year is an immediate auto
matic £100, with further automatic penalties up to a maximum £1,000 for continued late submission. There is then the scope for HMRC to apply yet more penalties linked to the amount of tax owed.
