Appointments At Salisburys

Having just recorded their best ever trading at Salisbury & Co, Chartered Accountants in St Asaph, directors Aled Roberts and Jeremy Salisbury are delighted to announce the promotion to director of Jason Matischok.

Jason has been with the firm since 2003, joining after completing his ‘A’ levels.  He decided not to go to University, but instead achieved first time passes, initially, in his Accounting Technician (AAT) exams and subsequently in his professional exams, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2009.

He has an established portfolio of clients, mainly in the corporate sector, for whom he provides advice and guidance ranging from audit, accounting and tax to forecasting and financial modelling.

Jason said:

“I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity to become a director at Salisbury’s.  I have worked here for 13 years and know the people and clients inside out.  Every day there is a new challenge due to the nature and size of the business and companies for whom the firm acts.  I am looking forward to extending my knowledge through increasing my client portfolio and working with them to grow and improve their businesses”.

In addition to Jason’s appointment, the firm is also pleased to announce two further additions to its team.

Sian Sparkes joins the firm as a payroll administrator, working closely with Lynne Jones the payroll manager, after many year working with a local payroll provider.  She brings extensive experience and knowledge to the role.

Lewis Hughes-Jones joins as a Trainee Accountant, from Prestatyn, having already taken several of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants exams off his own back.

Aled Roberts, director said:

“These appointments and promotions are a result of the growth of the firm, not only in terms of the numbers of clients that we look after, but also the range of services that we are able to offer them.  During the last year we have assisted clients in all areas from fund raising, disposals and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, staff share schemes, right through to acting as their outsourcing partner for payroll and bookkeeping services.

We really do feel that we offer a ‘one stop’ approach for compliance and advisory services in North wales and the North West.”
