Before the climb: Our talented team get ready to brace themselves against adverse weather conditions on the ascent – all for a good cause.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve taken on Snowdon on the 5th of September 2017, and successfully reached the peak! We did so in aid of St Kentigern Hospice, a local charity which does seriously good work for those in need across the North Wales area.

We would like to thank each and every one of our sponsors for the fantastic amount that we were able to raise for this very good cause – all donations, large or small, helped us make a real difference to the Hospice, and your support will continue to help St Kentigern Hospice with their plans to expand. This expansion of services is intended to provide an even better experience to their inpatients, outpatients, and the relatives and guests which come to visit their loved ones as they stay with St Kentigern Hospice.

Furthermore, your aid has helped us help this registered charity with their aims to expand their training facilities, which in turn will help to shape countless future nurses and health professionals’ careers. Your assistance will help the men and women of St Kentigern Hospice help those who need their support and care through trying times for the long term – not just for the duration of their stay.

We believe that St Kentigern Hospice and the world-class care provided there is a true lifeline to the North Wales community, and from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you all for all of your assistance, especially considering that we raised over 200% of the original target amount of £1000. All-in-all, we managed to raise £2020 in offline and online donations for this very worthy cause. (Should you wish to make even more of a difference, our JustGiving page is still open!)

The team at our St Asaph offices braved the harsh elements on the morning of Tuesday the 5th of September to take the challenge of the Snowdon climb, and although the weather conditions were truly adverse (and

we were well and truly soaked by the time we’d made the 1,085 metre climb up the Pyg Track!) we managed to triumph, and reach the peak of the mountain.

Our director, Aled Roberts, had this to say about the day:

‘ It was a fantastic achievement by the team in tough conditions, and we are immensely proud of our connections with St.Kentigern Hospice and the amount we have raised to support them.’

We are thrilled to have raised such a large amount of money for such a great local cause, and we wish St Kentigern Hospice the very best in their expansion plans.
