We are so pleased to announce that we have continued our sponsorship of the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy Football League into the 2018 and 2019 season.
The league was formed in 1973, and nowadays the Premier Division is in the fifth level of the Welsh Football League System in North Wales. The League’s boundaries stretch throughout North Wales, along the coastline towns of Abergele, Llandudno, Kinmel Bay, Penrhyn Bay, Old Colwyn, Rhyl, and inland to St Asaph, Betws, Denbigh, Cerrigydrudion and further on.
We very much believe in the power of grassroots football. It’s a beautiful game after all, and grassroots football clubs have a unique power to turn individuals into teams. Grassroots Football also has the power to bring the local community together. Grassroots football allows people to meet new friends from altogether different backgrounds – whether you’re a young person playing or a parent watching from the sidelines.
Sports clubs are also capable of providing adults with an opportunity to share talent. The talents they might have used on the field some time ago can be properly put to use training others, and the application of shared talents can either be on the field or in the office.
We appreciate the value of local sport. We are so pleased to renew our sponsorship of the VCCFL and one of our directors, Aled Roberts, is a keen sportsman himself. He has played for Ruthin as well as Corwen in the past, and remains enthralled by the game today. Aled had this to say about the sponsorship deal:
” We are proud to be associated with such a league that promotes grass root football, and attracting youngsters into the game.”
We pride ourselves on all of our partnerships. We’re proud of being a local business which cares about local causes, and we’re always looking at ways we can do our bit to give back to the community which has given so much to us.
